Save a subreddit preset for every product

Typing the same six or eight subreddits into a search box every day wastes time you could spend on replies. A preset saves that list once, so you load it back with one click.

How does it work?

1. Open your user settings and add a new preset. Give it a name, like “Startup Growth” or “Home Fitness”.
2. Add the subreddits that fit that preset. KarmaGuy checks each one and flags any name it cannot find.
3. Mark one preset as your default. It loads first the next time you start a search.
4. On the search screen, switch between your saved presets with a click. Choose “Custom” to build a one-off list without touching them.
5. Add as many presets as you need, one for each product, niche, or client.

Why does it matter?

A preset turns a five minute setup step into a one click choice. You stop hunting for the same subreddit names every time you want to run a search.

Presets also keep your search focused. A “Startup Growth” preset built around founder subreddits will surface different posts than a “Home Fitness” preset. This holds even for the same account. Naming presets after a product or a niche keeps that focus clear.

For anyone running more than one project, presets and a default preset help too. You never search the wrong subreddits for the wrong product by mistake. Set the preset for your main project as default, and switch to the others only when you need them.

What are the limits?

A preset only stores subreddit names. It does not store your freshness window or keywords. You set those again each time you search, even with a preset loaded.

Presets live on your account, not on a project record. If you run several projects, keep your preset names close to your project names. That way you always pick the right one before you search.

Editing a preset changes it everywhere it is used going forward. It does not touch a search you already ran. Old results stay tied to the subreddits you searched at the time.

You manage presets in your user settings, not from the search screen itself. Plan to add or fix a preset before you start a search, not in the middle of one.
